Is it really needed to stir the wine in the glass? Of course!!

Stirring the wine in the glass helps the “awakening” of the different aromatic compounds that are in the wine and we obtain an enrichment of the aromas and the experience of the tasting itself, because moving the wine in the glass allows major oxygenation as it increases the contact surface area between liquid and air when it goes round the walls of the glass.

It also allow us to see the unctuosity of the wine. Wines with more unctuosity have a higher alcohol and sugar content.

It is difinitively a key step during the wine tasting to discover the maximum potential in the course of the olfactory phase .
