The vineyards are the soul of the winery, they are our history.
With the aim of obtaining the best quality of our grapes always, we grow only our own vineyards, what allow us to achieve a rigorous control over all the procedures to attain the excellence along the elaboration process.
We take care of the 62 has of own vineyards belonging to the DOCa Rioja , divided in varieties such as Tempranillo (80%), Garnacha (10%), Rioja varieties par excellence and also Mazuelo (8%) y Graciano (2%) , old native varieties of Rioja almost extinguished that we still grow in our winery and that give that special refinement to our wines.
Our vineyards grow at different altitudes, with many hours of sun and very low rainfall, in calcareous-clay soils with a predominance of boulders that enable the roots to get deeper into the ground and obtain a better water uptake. Each variety that we cultivate provides the characteristics of the terroir where they are located : Aldeanueva de Ebro, Alfaro, Autol.
Throughout the field works , a concientious respect towards the environment is carried out, with the aim of getting the best out of it and improving the balance in our vineyards.
Our work philosophy is to elaborate exclusively the grapes from our own vineyards to produce wines of proven quality.
