The Sala Entreviñas in Aldeanueva de Ebro recently hosted a highly anticipated event in the Rioja region: the unveiling of the first wines from the 2024 harvest, offering an early taste of what promises to be an exceptional year for this historic wine appellation.
Among the various wineries showcasing their new releases, Bodegas Álvarez Alfaro was one of the local wineries presenting its new creations; we featured different Rioja wines, including our young white Rioja made fromGarnacha Blanca.
This wine, crafted from a grape variety that’s still relatively uncommon in the region’s offerings, is notable for its fresh character and unique aromatic profile. The Garnacha Blanca from Bodegas Álvarez Alfaro presents a vibrant and fruity experience, with citrus notes and hints of stone fruits like apricots and peaches, complemented by a soft floral background that enhances its complexity.
